Ann writes the following about The Outsiders :
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton was an amazing book. It deals with topics such as friendship, heroism, loyalty, family, and so much more. There are so many conflicts in this book that it's just hard to put it down. Ponyboy and his gang of Greasers, or hoods, are having life-theatening conflicts with the Socs, or rich kids. After Johnny, a greaser who is beat by his parents and has no one to rely on except his fellow greasers, kills a Soc named Bob, him and Ponyboy run from their town and spend a week in a church miles away from their homes. Dallas turns from Juvenile delinquent to hero in a matter of minutes, but isn't rewarded for it in the best way. I would reccomend this book to anyone and everyone.
