jeffrey M writes the following about The Giver :

I think this book is good but not the best. I liked the fact that Jonas took Gabe with him and saved him from realease. The courage of Jonas was very brave. The ending was not the best. The fact that they can't pick their job or have their own babies is very weird. And the fact that they don't have color must be very boring. The release thing I thought was a little to harsh, and killing the other twin was really harsh.
