Tomas Moffatt writes the following about The Giver :

This book was extremely exciting and cool but it left me with alot of questions.This book is about a boy named Jones that at age 12 he get's picked to be the next reciever of memory and to do that he gets singled out and recieves special training from the giver.In this community there are alot of diferences from our world like there is no color and everything is the same. The book's ending is horrible because it leaves you alot of questions and it doesn't espicifically explain what happened.Jones also recieves good and bad memories from the Giver.When he recieves bad memories he gets pain and when he recieves a good memory he feels good.
