D. G. K. PRA. writes the following about The Giver :
This book was very interesting and filled me up with questions and predictions. The protaganist Jonas was a polite young MALE as everyone. Once turn twelve at the ceremony of twelve he discovers that he is chosen as the next receiver of memory. Through his training he RECEIVES good and tough memories. Later on I learned along with Jonas that feelings are important. One day he discovers that his FATHER released people. Death came to his mind which changed the predictions I had made. Later on he found out that they were going to RELEASE Gabriel, a baby that the family ENJOYED. Jonas LOVED him and had a plan to give love to the "utopian society."WEll I personaly didn't like the ending well not much.
