The Giver is a great book to read. It is an EXCALANT book because it is so exciting,I mean it just keeps you asking,wondering,and guessing, that is a good thing to me.The book is good but at the end it could be better so that takes off points.But I think on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 8.Here is a little shout-out to Lois Lowry"Good job on The Giver and just like my dad tells me,KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK."So if you are reading this you should get The Giver,and if you do,get ready to read a very very good book.Oh and in the end get ready to gasp.
