I think that everyone with a large vocabulary and a good sense of spotting details, should read this book. I beleive that Lois Lowry gave many good descriptions and set up her book with many good what if questions. This book allows the reader to use his/her imagination to place themselves as the character of Jonas. The only thing I disliked about this book was the ending. Lois Lowry set the reader up to answer many of the questions she left unanswered throughout the story.
