lil shorty writes the following about The Outsiders :

this book is really cool and i remember that ponyboy gets along with his brother soda pop but not with his other brother derry. so one day ponyboy and johnny went to the theaters and found two girl socs their name were cherry and marcie. then they saw two bit a friend of theirs. after that the girls asked them if they could walk them home since they didn't have no ride. while they were walking they saw a blue mustang passing by they thought it was the fbi, but marcie saw that it was randy and bob some other socs.the othere time it passed again but it stopped and said why are you girls walking with these greasers. the two guys were cherry's and marcie's boyfriend but they were mad at them for getting drunk and leaving them alone. so then the two socs wanted to fight the greasers so cherry got in the middle and told the socs they would ride with them to not have problems. then ponyboy and johnny found themselves in hter park, then all of a sudden the two socs came back and were drowning ponyboy in the fountain so johnny was afraid that they were going to kill ponyboy so johnny took out his knife and stab bob. then they went to dally for the supplies they needed, and he gaved them a gun,money, and to go to a near by town. well he said to go to jay mountains were theirs an abondoned church so they stayed there and they cut their hair.
