Becca writes the following about The Outsiders :

I loved this book! My favorite saying in the book is when Johnny tells Ponyboy to "Stay Gold". When I first heard from my teacher that we were going to read this book I doubted that I would like it... But I loved it!!! I give 200 thumbs up to S.E Hinton, this book was excellent!!! She described Soda so well that I would like to date him myself. I cried when Johnny died, because she described him so well that I felt like I had known him for years. Dally was a guy that was bad to the bone, and I loved it when Cherry threw the soda in his face.
