Raven Fenn-Sparks writes the following about The Magician's Nephew :
This book is about two kids and their trip to Narnia. They travel there by magic rings that one of the kid's mean Uncle Andrew gave to them. When they get there there they meet a witch and somehow she manages to come home with them. She ends up getting into a lot of trouble. The Magician's Nephew is a good book if you like fantasy and adventure stories. The reason I rated it a 6.8 is because there are some confusing sentences and I also think that there is too much detail about some things that aren't very important. I just wanted to know what was happening instead of getting held up in all the descriptive words. The only reason I didn't rate the illustrations higher is because they weren't color. Other than that, the illustrations were great.
