G writes the following about Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry :
I loved this book. I read it when I bought and then again when I was in sixth grade for a class assignment. I think that this book showed what exactly blacks went through in the harsh south. If I were to recommend this book to somebody, I would tell them, after you pick the book up, you won't put it down.
