Darko writes the following about The Outsiders :

Ponyboy is a young boy growing up in Oklhoma where there is a war between the Greasers and the Socs. Ponyboy and his gang face teen battles coming from everywhere. Ponyboy and his two brothers raise each other trying to survive on there own since there parents died in a car crash. Ponyboy loses some friends and gain some friends in this book. His gang, the Greasers, end up winning the rumble with the Socs.
