kid writes the following about Hatchet :

ok. this is the worst book i have ever read. why would i care how some kid survives in the wilderness?why? the beginning was okay tho becuz he almost died. i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. the main character slits his wrists with a hatchet, kills animals and sttuff. therefore, not appropriate for youngling. this book is extremely boring, unrealistic and it's justhorrible. we had to read it in class, and books you read in class are never good.don'tt read this book.
