Freya writes the following about The Giver :

I had to read this book for Year Seven this year. At first i thought it was strange and that i wouldn't like it. But three chapters in i loved it. I thought it was a really touching story. When i finished it i was in tears for all sorts of reasons, which i won't mention. The giver is the Best book i have ever read. And the most moving book. Thanks Lois Lowry.
