Donkeys Rule writes the following about The Giver :

This is a book about a boy named Jonas.He lives in a "utopia".Jonas is selected to be the reciever.He will get memories of the truth. He wasn't sure about at first but he got his training.My favorite part is when Jonas recieves his first memory.He gets a ride on a sled.That is new to him.I like that part because its entertaining.It also helps to explain more.I would reccomend this book to people who like mystery.It has a lot of mystery twists and questions.
