Josh writes the following about The Giver :

The book is all about a boy and his name is Jonas. Then he turns 12 years old and becomes a receiver. Then he starts his frist day as a receiver. Then he gets to meet the old receiver and is name is the Giver. Then the Giver gives Jonas alot of diffirent memories of all the history of his community. Then Jonas gives Gabriel all the memories that the Giver gave Jonas.
