Gotto Girl writes the following about The Giver :

Ih if somebody told you that the giver was a stupid or dumb book they did not really understand the book at all. In fact it was the exact opposite if you wanna no the real deal. I read the the whole book and it kept my attention. (only thorwed the end) It's about this boy named Joans and his commnity is supposed ta be perfect but it's the opposite. My favorite part of this story is when Joans takes his brother with him and get gets out of the commnity.The reason he took Gabe out of the commnity was beause was going to be realesed. I would tell you what realsed means but ya gotta read the book.I would reacomed this book to you beacause it gives ya lots ta think about.Plus it makes ya feel like ya really in the book. PEACE
