Guess ( good coppy) writes the following about The Giver :

The Give is a good book about a boy named Jonas. Jonas is supposed to live in some type of a" uopia",but it seems that he is living in a prision. His community is so strict they are limited on what they do and how they live their life. The community may be safer than where we might live but I would not want to live there.Jonas is the main character in this book. Jonas is a normal boy growing up in a very strict enviorment. Jonas is a very determined 12 year old. He wants to tell the community about the memories but for their safetyhe has to keep them to himself. I didn't have a favorite part in the book I liked most of it but if I tell you the parts I didn't like it would give the story away. I most definatly recomend this book to other readers because once you get reading it you probally wont wanna stop. I recomend that you read it slow so you understand more cause than at the end it will leave you with many questions.
