audrey writes the following about Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry :

I loved this book! It was a good book about racism and how Cassie learned how to respond to the cruelty and unfairness of the situations she was dealing with in her life. There was only one picture in the version I read and the picture wasn't very good.
