Matthew Brisendine writes the following about Hatchet :

Hatchet is a story of survival, wits, craftsmanship and excitement. I can't mention any other books like this because I usually don't read books like this. I thought this book was adventurous. It just got better and better! The things that took place in the book seemed so real it felt like I was there. If you read this book I think you will like it also. I like the book because it's like camping or a survival mission. Well, if you want to see what happens, start reading!
