Simon G. writes the following about The Giver :
The Giver is a great book. The author really shows that we sometimes take for granted our values, choices, and uniqueness. What if everyone and everything was the same? No chioces, seasons or hills. In the setting, the community is this way.
In this community, Jonas is a 12 year old boy who is assaigned the job of reciever of memory. Jonas is very curious and doesn't like sameness. In the end, Jonas does something very crazy, but the end is not a good one. It's to unspecific. However, the giver is an overall great, unique book.
