Chamo Cabuki writes the following about Farewell to Manzanar :

In the book Farwell To Manzanar some things that I dislike about this book was that when Roosevelt had sent the Japenese to an interment camp because of Pearl Harbor. Things that i liked about this book was how the Japenese got to have another chance when they were free and also got to begin and start all over agian with new lives.I liked this book cause now you know what had happned with Japanese and you learn about what happened in the past.
