ezann writes the following about The Outsiders :

The Outsiders is a great book of literature as it reveals problems commonly faced by adolescents suych as teen pregnancy, gang fights, and the importance of family. it also shows how violence can never solve the problem "Greasers will always be greasers, Socs will always be Socs" even if the greasers win the rumble, their victory will soon be forgotten and the socs will still be the top of the cream, the cream of the society. it also touches on dysfunctional families, how while having too little is never too good, there is also the problem of having too much to the extent of not being able to want anything else. i think it is a good book as it reveals problems and offers solutions in the lives of characters.
