I read the book Hatchet, which has actually turned out quite pleasant. When I had to read a Newbery book i thought, "great another boring book!" When I got to about the 10th page i was astonished. This is an amazing book!! Hatchet is about a teen named Brian, whose parents recently divorced. When Brian gets on a plane to go to his dad's house over the summer, the pilot has a heart attack and the plane goes down. Brian is stuck in a wilderness alone, trying to survive! The suspence builds up by each page!!!! This book is awesome. It would be a good book for an easy reader. Check it out of your library, i know you won't regret it!!
