Victoria writes the following about The Giver :

When I read this book a few years ago, I absolutely loved it. I love how that story is placed in a society/world that is so different from the world that we live in today. The characters in this story were developed beautifully and the plot made it so interesting, that now, 3 years and a bizillion reads later, I still have trouble putting the book down even to eat dinner. For anyone who loves to curl up in a corner with a book they can't put down, you should definately pick this book!!!!!
