A.J. writes the following about Hatchet :

this book was an amazing adventure. its about a boy thats parents broke up and he knows the secret why. on the summers he goes with his dad and so he went. he gets on a bush plane to alaska and something goes wrong. the piolet has a heart attack and they go down. while he is in the wilderness he makes weapons finds and hunts food and goes on amazing adventures. but he runs into many obstacles on the way to surviving.
