Brian writes the following about The Outsiders :

The book I read was The Outsiders and S.E.Hinton wrote it. The book has a lot of good parts and sad parts. If you like a book that has good characters, action, and emotion, you should read this book. What I liked about The Outsiders is when Ponnyboy gets his life back together after Johnny and Dally?s deaths. I also liked when Pony and Johnny saved kids from in a burning church. Another part I liked is when Ponyboy stood up for himself when three Socs came at him. My favorite character is Ponyboy because he is a nice guy, he saved kids from a fire, and he is also the main character in this book. Pony is the youngest bother and he is the youngest in his gang. Pony loves to write and to read a lot when he could. The sad part in this book is when Johnny and Dally die. Johnny could have had a future. He died to young and left a lot of friends behind. When Johnny died Dally robbed a store and in front of the vacant lot two cops killed Dally. He didn?t have to do that, he could have cried instead. I give this book five stars out of five stars and the author gets five stars as well. I will read the book again and again because it is very good and it shows you what was happening in the 1950?s. I think you should read this book and I hope you have fun reading this book as much as I did.
