A.J. Harris writes the following about Hatchet :

This book was one of the best books i have ever read. It is about a boy namess brian who knows a (SECRET). Because of this secret his parents divorce and he goes to his fathers for the summer. Except his bush plane piolet dies and brian crashes. Now somewhere in the north woods of alaska he is lost and scared. he has nothing to him except the clothes on his back and his hatchet. hhe makes wepons, fish trps and more. he gets attacked by bugs, moose, and tornadoes. this is definately a marvelous adventure if you are up to it.
