It is about a boy, who was going to visit his father for the summer in the northern Canadian woods, but his pilot had a stroke and his plane crashed! Young Brian only has a hatchet that his mother gave him before the trip. Everything he knows must help him survive moose & bear attacks and overcome his hunger. Those aren’t his only problems. Will he survive or die?
