Jeff Kern writes the following about Hatchet :
Do you enjoy thrilling stories of survival? If so, Hatchet is a wonderful book for you. This realistic fiction story is about thirteen-year-old Brian Robeson. He was on a plane going to see his father for the summer because his parents were divorced. The plane crashes. Brian suddenly finds himself alone in the Canadian Wilderness. He must use what he knows to survive with only his hatchet.
“Brian Robeson stared out the window of the small plane at the endless green northern wilderness below.” This book will keep you hooked right up until the end. Hatchet is probably the best book I’ve ever read I highly recommend this book to you. Hatchet is a very interesting story of action, danger, and survival. This book is filled with suspense. You won’t be able to put it down. This story is an excellent book for all readers. Hatchet is one of the best books ever published.
