In thirty years, this will be the best classic for young adults ever! This book is about a boy named Jonas who lives in a community where everything is perfect and schedule, like a machine. Five-year-olds use P.h.D enriched vocabulary. When Jonas is offered the chance of a lifetime, to become the Giver's apprentice, he can't refuse. But, as he meets up with the old man, he learns some terrible secrets about his community. Will he try to fix everything, or flee? I would recommend this book for anyone 10+. An amazing classic. A must have. Purchase it ASAP!
