The Fame writes the following about the girls :

this book is great for middle kids because it shows that drama is so STUPID and there is no need for it. My thing is why couldn't you bring to maya attention that she was being annoying and instead of everybody hating on her and makin her feel bad. Renee and Brianna did the right thing of leaving Darcy and candace. It wasnt worth feeling bad while they were talking about your best friend. I bet once in life ALLL these girls were best friend and they didnt hate each other but since one person doesnt like maya everybody else doesnt. There not being leaders insteaed there being followers. It SOOO stupid.
