MaddieR writes the following about The Giver :

The Giver was an excellent book because it was interesting to read about a so called perfect society. One thing I did not like about the book was that the author did not tell what happened to Gabe and Jonas once they reached the top of the mountain. Jonas was an interesting character because his reactions to the memories he received was very entertaining to read about. The Giver was a great book to read.
