Erika Miller writes the following about The Giver :

The book The Giver by Lois Lowry was very interesting. The book was about a Utopia and a boy Jonas who lived in one. Everything in his community is the same. Once he lears about the memories before sameness it makes him relize that he really does not like in a Utopia. I liked this book because every chapter made you feel a different emotion. I would also recomend it because there is a strong vocabulary and at the end of chapters theres always some sort of cliff hanger. The book made you think about what really is a Utopia or if it is a Distopia.
