Lhanels writes the following about The Outsiders :
The Outsiders is an addictive book that you can not put down after you start.
This story is set in Oklahoma and is about a young Boy by the name of Pony his life and the other members of his gang.
Pony belongs to a gang called the greasers who are the poor kids from the wrong side of town who are constantly fighting with the Socs the rich privileged kids from the good side of town.
Pony lives with his two brothers after his parents died in a car accident Sodapop who is always happy and sticks up for Pony and Darry the oldest who is very hard on Pony. There are many strong characters in this book including Two bit the oldest and funniest of the group Steve Sodas best friend, Dally the Roughest member and Johnny the pet of the gang and Pony?s best friend. These Juvenile Delinquids have gone through many things in there lives and it is not going to just stop there this book is filled with action, suspense and realistic fiction.
This book is also filled with wrong decisions with consequences that will teach them all valuable lessons
