Tiara writes the following about The Outsiders :
The book The Outsiders was set in the 60's and was written by S.E. Hinton at the early age of 16. The book took place in Tulsa,Oklahoma, and is about these two gangs who didn't like each other. Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry were brothers. Johnny was like a brother to Ponyboy because Johnny's parents beat him and threw him out of the house and Johnny went to stay in a vacant lot. Johnny, Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darry, and some other boys were in a gang called the Greasers. Ponyboy and Johnny get into a lot of trouble with the Socs. Ponyboy and Johnny run away but stop in at Dally's for help. Dally gets them out of town and a place to stay until he comes.

The book The Outsiders is a tearjearker and will leave you wanting more. I would recommend anyone who wants to read a book with drama, excitement, and laughter to read this book.
