CareBear writes the following about A Stranger Is Watching :
A Stranger is Watching by Mary Higgins Clark has a good plot but the sequence of events is confusing. This novel is mainly set in Grand Central Station in New York City, and the Peterson home in Carley, Connecticut. The setting is successfully used to set the the mood of the story throughout the novel. The mood of the story is somewhat doleful and suspensful and the setting helps portray this. The characters in this book are well described and developed throughout the story. You learn about the characters through foreshadowing and descriptions. A Stanger is Watching is set in the third person point of veiw. It is successfully used and is the best choice to show thoughts and emotions for all of the characters. A Stranger is Watching is a great book for any one who enjoys suspensful, murder mysteries.
