DJ writes the following about The Outsiders :
I loved it . It was awsome, my class read it for school . The main character is Ponyboy. He and his brothers ,Darry and Sodapop, are part of a gang called the Greases. Their rival gang is the Socs. Other members of the gang are Two-bit, Johnny, Steve, and Dally. There are plenty of illegal things in this story, but it tests freindships to their fullest extent. Johnny kills a Soc to save Ponyboy's life. From then on they are running from the fuzz (police) until their story takes a tragic turn for the worst. I reccomend this book for people that are 11 years old.
