Lucy writes the following about The Outsiders :

I think that this book has a hidden meaning. The poem by Robert Frost has a deeper meaning then something in nature is beautiful. I think that Johnny and Ponyboy were the outsiders. They didn't belong with the Greasers and they didn't belong with the Socs. This book really makes you think about how everything in this world is stereotyped and how everyone is very stereotypical.
