The Outsider's by S.E. Hinton is an excellent book that deals with social differences. This book tell about a boy going through struggles that are not as common as others. Just as he is starting to recover from the death of his parents, he looses his close friend and another member of the gang. Hinton helps us see the problems from everyone's point of view. "It's rough all around," as Cherry says. The novel has a good meaning to it. It hs its sad moments, it has its funny and cheerful moments, and it even has its spinethrilling moments. You don't want to put this book down once you get into it. I would recomend this to everyone who loves a good laugh and cry. This book tells that no matter how difficult the struggle, it can always be conquered.
