Meg writes the following about The Giver :

The book 'The Giver' may not be the best book I have ever read but it's definetly worth reading. In the begining the book is very slow and does not grab the readers attention, but towards the middle the book is very interesting and you figure out why certain things happened that you didn't understand at first. I would consider reccommending this book to a friend even though it would not be my first choice I do believe this was a well written and interesting book.
