8401 writes the following about The Outsiders :

I thought this book was a good book. It started with Ponyboy being jumped by some Socs and his gang come to save him. The gang is made of his brothers and some of thier old freinds. Poneyboy and Johny later kill a Soc in self defense and run away to an old abandoned church. There they stay until Dally comes to get them. They leave to get food and when they come back the church was on fire. Now this would not have been a problem if there weren't kids in there. Johny and Poneyboy go into the church to save them. When they get out of the church, Johney is majorly burned and Dally burned his arm pretty bad, while trying to save Johney. Poneyboy was all right though. A while later in the book, Johney dies and Dally commits suicide. Other than the ending of the book I thought it was a good book.
