"The Outsiders" was a good book. It was different than most other books because S.E Hinton used diiferent themes and ideas, such as, eveyone needs to feel accepted.
Her character ,Johnny, is a good example of this. At his home, his parents don't seem to care about him. If he get's beat up, or "jumped", the only ones that are there for him are his friends. There, with his friends, he is accepted, but you need love from a parent to
"The Outsiders" was sad,it moved my teacher to tears, but it was a very good book all in all. I would definatly recommend it!
