8115 writes the following about The Outsiders :

I think that the "The Outsiders" was a very good book. This book was different than many other books because it has many main characters and it has the theme that different conflicts arise from misunderstandings of attitudes and values. The many different conflicts arise from the two very different groups of friends, the Socs and the greasers. The Socs were the west-side kids and the greasers were the east-side kids. The Socs would jump the greasers a lot, especially when they were drunk. Both groups agreed to have a ble and a lot of people left it with black eyes and cuts. I would highly reccomend this book to anyone, even though some parts of this book are really sad.
