This book was decent even though there were a few parts that bored me, but other than that it was ok. Some parts made me want to fall asleep,one of the reasons was there wasnt very much action. Like when Johnny and Ponyboy had to run because Johnny killed that soc they were hiding doing nothing for a long time. And i d how it got so emotional when Darry hit Pony it was kinda y.
The part of the ble was the worst display of fighting i have ever heard of. The greasers were like jumping on the socs backs it was dumb. And Ponyboy hurt his head during the ble but didnt start feeling it till he saw Johnny at the hospital.
Overall i didnt like the book mabye a would but it isnt the kinda book a guy would want to read.If you are looking for an emotional book than it is perfect.
Everyone needs to feel accepted, for instance in the book Johnny's parents didnt accept him and the gang did. He felt that he belonged to the gang. also in the book Ponyboy felt that his older brother Darry didnt accept him because everything he would do Darry thought he was doing it wrong.
