8311 writes the following about The Outsiders :

The Outsiders was a really good book. I thought that it had meaning to it that no other book I have read has had before, because you could tell when you are reading it that the author felt strongly about the kind of things that are happening in the book, and so did I.SOme of the characters in the book that really stood out to me were, Ponyboy and Jonny. Ponyboy and Jonny seem to fit some of the sayings in the book such as, "conflicts arise from misunderstandings of additudes and values." Ponny and Jonny really show that to me, because they know that fighting isn't right and that it is not going to solve anything, unlike Dally and Two-Bit who think that fighting solves everything. Really all Im trying to say is that The Outsiders is a great book and you shoul read it.
