In The Outsiders, the Greasers are always looking after one another. When Ponyboy got jumped by the Socs Darry and Sodapop helped him. When Bob tried to drown Ponyboy, Johnny stabbed him. At the ble, Ponyboy helped Dally by jumping on a Socs' back and Darry helped Ponyboy when a Soc kept kicking him. Dally helped Johnny get out of the burning church, in Windrixville.
They also helped some others. When Dally was hitting on Cherry Valance, Johnny told Dally to stop. At Windrixville, Ponyboy and Johnny helped get the little kids ouy of the burning church.
The Greasers were just people trying to help others. They were also trying to help themselves get through really hard times. They stuck by each other and helped one another. They were all people trying to get through life with a lot of help from their friends.
