8410 writes the following about The Outsiders :

The reason I think that this is a good book is because it talks about teens lives today in the cities.The characters in this book are Darry,Dally,Soda,Ponyboy,Two-bit,Steve,and Randy.Some of them are having a hard time being on their own just like Darry, Soda, and Ponyboy in this book.They are all brothers.In this book Darry is tring to make money working as a roofer to pay the rent so if they needed anything they had to steal it.At the end of this book after Johnny killed Bob, after Ponyboy and Johnny saved those children from the burning church, and after Dally and Johnny were .Pony kept wondering weather he and Johnny were hero's or just two kids running from the cops.Even Darry was wondering weather Soda and Pony would be sent to a boy's home but all worked out in the end.This has been really inspiring to me and I hope it has been for you.
