8414 writes the following about The Outsiders :

S.E. Hinton is a good auther because she explained how each charcture felt,and how they looked. She also went into detail about how and why everything happend. Also she made the plot visible.Like when they went to the GX, when Randy wanted to talk to Pony and he was not forshure if he should or not, but he did and Randy said he was not going to the ble or fight that he was sick of all the fighting because Bob got killed. And Randy was not all that rude to the Socs because he saw nothing different about them except how much money one person has. I think both the Socs and the Greasers learned somthing about Bobs like its not all that important about where you live, who tour parents are, or how much money you have. I as a book lover would recomend this book to any one even if they do not like to read or do. This is a great book if you get the chance to read it......................
