Zara writes the following about The Spiderwick Chronicles :
Its about a family of 4 who move into a old creepy house which was offered them by Aunt Lucinda (Families Relative). The family consists of newley-divorsed Helen, fencing mad Mallory, animal loving nerd Simon and bad boy Jared. On the first night Jared hears a noise in the wall which he presums is a ghost which he gets convinced is a squirel. He then wakes up to find his sister with bruises and hair tied to the board of her bed. Everyone blames him. He sulks upstairs in the attic and finds a riddle. He figures it out and discovers the feild guide with a threat 'Click, Clack watch your back'. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it has helped me open my mind to the magical world. I now have my own brownie and own adventures. I reccomened it to people with a imagination and a love for a magical world they believe they cannot reach.
