Comments: I'm not sure if I read it wrong, but I think there is a little error in this lesson. In the first activity of the Body, students are told to "spin their bodies to the right" as they are pretending to be the Earth. However, from what I have learned in my reading for teaching a lesson on day/night, the Earth rotates in a counter- clockwise direction, which is to the left. I just thought this should be pointed out so that others do not read this and make the mistake of teaching it the wrong way. Other than that, I love this unit and plan on using the ideas in my future classroom!
